HOME INFORMATION PACKS...

are compulsory from 1st August 2007 for 4 bedroomed properties and above and this extends to 3 bedroomed properties from 10th September. Unless your property was already on the market by then, when you will have a few months grace, you cannot market your property without commissioning one.

Most of the contents of a pack are documents that solicitors already put together and supply to prospective buyers when doing the conveyancing. Now it has to be done at the beginning of the process.

Accordingly, even if you do not propose to make use of our estate agency service, which would include the preparation of the pack, it would be advisable to consult us before your estate agent, so that the pack can be supplied when the property is advertised.
